Local area
The Dyfi Valley cradles the westerly spur of Powys, Ceredigion north of Aberystwyth, and the southern rim of Snowdonia National Park and it hosts some of the finest examples of special landscapes and wildlife areas in Europe with much of the estuary area recognised as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
There are award-winning beaches that run all the way from Aberdyfi to Tywyn in the north and from Ynyslas to Borth in the south and the Aran Mountains and Cadair Idris in Southern Snowdonia are both easily accessible from the valley.
With Welsh being the first language in the Dyfi Valley, it is something you will hear often.
